This new app lets you discover music like you'd find a date on Tinder
A new app called Enso is trying to bring that fun into discovering music on Spotify. The app presents you with a series of 30-second song snippets, like Tinder presents you a series of potential dates, and you swipe "yes" or "no" on each one. You can choose what genre you are looking to find music in, or you can go with a grab-bag assortment.
If you swipe "yes," Enso adds it to a playlist in Spotify that you can go back to later.
If you want to listen to the song the moment you find it, just hold down the center button in Enso and you'll have the option to either listen to it on Spotify or watch the music video on YouTube if it's available.
While Spotify has made large strides in curating music, especially with its cult hit playlist "Discover Weekly," there is something undeniably fun about using Enso to swipe your way to a new playlist.
